Unified Streaming is a leading provider of cross-platform video-streaming technologies. Our products are in operation around the world with customers ranging from broadcasters and service providers, to telco’s and CDNs. Unified Streaming provides streaming from one encode simultaneously to HLS, HDS, Smooth, progressive and MPEG-DASH. Unified Streaming software fits into existing frameworks (Apache, IIS, Lighttpd, Nginx), thus allowing for greater return on existing investment. In combination with various DRM technologies and advanced features (as for instance support for DTS and Dolby or automatic subtitle conversion ).
Unified Streaming is a software company, privately held and based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. We license our technology for direct use or integration within products – from client SDK’s on ARM based chipsets to adding integrated streaming services to object based storage systems.
TEAM
Dirk Griffioen has over 15 years’ experience in programming C/C++ in various fields ranging from natural language processing to GPS or real-time financial data processing. Of these he spent the last 7 years in audio/video processing related to media streaming. He has worked at Barcelona Media on 3D Audio and as such was part of several projects in the FP7 framework.
